Lebron Dunks on Jason Terry after Terry talks about the trash (video).
Lebron James punishes a lot of people by dipping into it, but no one was more enjoyable to posterize than Jason Terry.
Hoopsvibe Quick Call: Terry is known for talking about trash; now he can also be known to get drenched.
There has been a lot of bad blood between Jason Terry and Lebron James in recent years. I’m pretty sure the rivalry arose after Terry aka “Jet” and the Dallas Mavericks beat Lebron James and the Heat in the 2010-11 NBA Finals. And now that Terry has moved to Boston, the Heat’s main Eastern Conference rival, fuggetabout.
After Miami beat the Celtics in Monday night’s game for their 23rd straight win, Lebron was interviewed by ESPN and explained why it was nice to dabble on the man they call Jet.
“I had the chance to [review] that, and that was one of my best, “James said of his dunk on Terry after the game.” The fact that this happened to JT made him even sweeter. Because we all know JT and he talks too much sometimes. And I’m glad that happened to him. ”
But you have to give Lebron and the Heat credit because the dunk was pretty nasty. Not just the dunk, even, but the entire room. First, Wade stole it from Terry in the backcourt, returned a pass behind his back to Haslem who sent it back to Norton who lobbed it at Lebron. It was like something you see from the Harlem Globetrotters.
Before the game, Terry commented on Miami’s winning streak, saying: “[I’m] not really impressed with that or anything they do. ”
I can only imagine he wasn’t impressed with getting soaked either.
(On a secondary note, the Heat came back from a 27-point deficit Wednesday night to beat Lebron’s former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers. It was the biggest lead in Cavs history and the 24th straight win. Miami’s second-longest winning streak in NBA history behind just the Lakers 71-72.)
