Ga. City Tells 11th Circ. Correctly rejected trans polarization combination


Law360 (May 28, 2021, 5:13 p.m. EDT) – A city in Georgia has asked the Eleventh Circuit to support a lower court dismissing a discrimination lawsuit brought by its former fire chief, who claimed she had was fired because of anti-transgender biases, saying she did not follow the proper procedure before filing the case.

The city of Byron said in a brief Thursday that former Fire Chief Rachel Mosby never properly submitted a verified grievance alleging discrimination to the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission after being fired, condemning his trial.
