11th Cir. Sits with Paychex in former HR director’s pay bias case

By Amanda Ottaway (July 15, 2022, 8:34 p.m. EDT) — The Eleventh Circuit on Friday upheld a lower court ruling in favor of Paychex Inc. against a former human resources executive at a company that she agreed, quashing her claims of pay bias because she failed to show that her male colleagues made more money for similar work.

A three-judge panel said in the curiam opinion that the Florida federal court was correct in granting summary judgment to Paychex, Oasis Outsourcing Group Holdings LP and related entities. Paychex acquired Oasis in 2018, according to the lawsuit of former executive Dolores Calicchio.
