ASSIST THE INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY MOVEMENT'S WORK IN THE OCCUPIED
TERRITORIES.
TALKING POINTS:
*H. Res. 294 did nothing to promote peace between Israelis and Palestinians;
if this administration were serious about peace then they would invest in
groups like the ISM, which risk their lives for Palestinians and Israelis.
* Tell Congress that while you think H. Res 294 was a colossal waste of your
tax-dollars that you would be supportive of a Resolution that actually
supported peace and human rights in the Occupied Territories.
* The ISM is a group made of Americans and other internationals in the
Occupied Territories teaching Palestinians nonviolent resistance in the face
of a
brutal Israeli apartheid government. They risk their lives to protect innocent
Palestinians from violent Israeli settlers and the IDF. A more noble
organization could not exist and we should be supporting the ISM instead of
thugs like Ariel Sharon.
