CFL ALERT: EXPRESS YOUR OUTRAGE OVER ISRAELI DEFIANCE OF THE U.N.

TALKING POINTS

*This week the U.N. General Assembly overwhelmingly approved a resolution demanding that Israel remove its apartheid wall and return land it has stolen from Palestinians in its construction. Israeli officials rejected and ridiculed U.N. demands and said on Wednesday that construction of Israel's apartheid wall will continue unfettered. U.S. Deputy Ambassador James Cunningham has indicated that the United States will not support any resolution to act against the apartheid wall.

*Ask your representatives why they support double standards in the Middle East vis-à-vis the United Nations? Remind them that as we allegedly wage our war against terror, we cannot expect Arab and Muslim nations to take us seriously if we have one set of demands for Israelis and another for Arabs and Muslims.

* The resolution, approved late Tuesday, won support from the European Union and was submitted for a vote by the 15-nation bloc. Ask the President and your representatives why we are supporting Israeli crimes while the rest of the world is trying to stop them.

* Tell your representatives that you will vote Green in the next election, that they will not receive your vote if they continue to support apartheid and injustice.
